At EVK, staff is the most valued resource and hence staff recruitment and selection is performed very carefully to ensure that only the candidates with the necessary skills and expertise are recruited. Our recruitment policy is to hire fresh graduates from the universities and other institutions of higher learning and then train them on our methodology and business philosophy. On joining the firm, the staff undergoes through an induction programme and a series of training and attending professional examinations (CPA or ACCA Exams depending on individual option). The firm pays for the expenses incurred in these examinations and also provides adequate training leave to staff. As a general rule, staff should qualify within 3 years after joining the firm. We also value the continuing professional development of our staff and the firm undertakes to sponsor each staff to attend at least one CPD event per year.
